Parks, Open Spaces and Recreational Opportunities
With over 100 acres of parks and open spaces right in the neighborhood you will be able to exercise your imagination. Yarrow is all about living life the way you want–among a vibrant mix of people doing exactly that. In June of 2008 Yarrow dedicated Crescent Park to the city of Madras. With sweeping views of the Cascade Mountains, mature trees, children's play space and relaxing gathering areas, Crescent Park holds all the characteristics that make this neighborhood special. A few blocks away you will also find one of the largest public parks in Oregon, the 60-acre Juniper Hills Park where there are plenty of spots for the young and the young at heart including bike paths and sports fields. Madras also offers a skateboard park that is bicycle-friendly providing entertainment options for all sorts of wheels. A state-of-the-art Madras Aquatic Center sits adjacent to Yarrow and offers water recreation for swimmers of all ages. The Central Oregon Community College Madras Branch Campus offers adult basic education and college prep courses.
Or, venture a little further, nearby wondrous sights include Smith Rock, Lake Billy Chinook, the Deschutes River and more. Plans for additional recreational opportunities also abound. Visit the beautiful Madras Aquatic Center that is located just down the road.
Lots of options and every one of them good. Not a bad way to spend your life.
about every home site gives a great view and you have the aquatic
